BIO

Dr. Son Tan Nguyen is a senior lecturer of law and technology at RMIT University Vietnam. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Son specializes in teaching, curricular development, and legal research. His teaching and research interests sit at the intersection of law, technology, and governance, focusing specifically on AI and algorithm governance, blockchain governance, regulating emerging tech ecosystems, consumer protection law, privacy and data protection law, and modern commercial and contract law.

Awards & recognitions:
Head of the Centre of Commerce and Management’s Awards: Excellent in Teaching Award (for individual lecturer), Semester 3, 2016; Excellent in Teaching Award (for course coordination), Semester 3, 2016.
