Robyn Barnacle is the Academic Lead, Research Training and Supervisor Development, in the School of Graduate Research. She is a research education specialist passionate about supporting researchers and creating a more just world through education, research, and culture change.

Robyn occupies a unique, university wide researcher development and leadership role at RMIT. She leads various cross-disciplinary research, researcher development, curriculum and professional development programs and initiatives. This includes leading professional development programs for both Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates and supervisors across the university. She also leads award winning, university-wide, culture change initiatives, such as the Respectful Research Training Program. In addition, Robyn co-leads a range of cross-disciplinary and cross-sectoral research projects, such as examining gender equality, diversity and inclusion in research workplaces and learning environments.
