Dr Ricardo Camacho is a Lecturer in Geospatial Sciences at RMIT University. He holds a PhD in Geomatics from the University of Melbourne and brings prior experience as a researcher and lecturer at Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia. His work combines Earth Observation, spatial modelling, and policy analysis to understand how disasters reshape urban systems, with particular focus on informal settlements and disaster risk governance in the Global South.
