BIO
Dr Ninh Nguyen is a Senior Lecturer of Marketing in the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing at RMIT University. He also holds honorary roles as Adjunct Associate Professor at Charles Darwin University and Senior Research Fellow at Thuongmai University.
Ninh's research focuses on promoting sustainability and on understanding technology adoption and use in both consumer and organisational contexts. Recent work investigates pro-environmental consumer behaviours, green hotel practices, social media engagement and the adoption of (digital) technologies and digitalisation strategies. He has published over 40 articles in A*/A journals (ABDC) and is the lead editor of Springer's book "Environmental Sustainability in Emerging Markets: Consumers, Organisation and Policy Perspectives". His work has been supported by several funding bodies, universities and businesses in Australia and Vietnam.
Ninh has successfully supervised five (5) PhD students to completion. His PhD students have published in A/Q1 journals, presented at prestigious marketing conferences (e.g., those hosted by the AMA and ANZMAC) and won several awards (e.g., an International Research Collaboration Award, the Northern Territory Science Week Awards and the ANZMAC Travel Award).
Ninh currently serves as Senior Associate Editor for the Journal of Consumer Behaviour (ABDC-A), where he won Senior Associate Editor of the Year and Associate Editor of the Year Awards. He is also Associate Editor for the Journal of Strategic Marketing (ABDC-A).
