Dr Naimeh Naseri Taheri has more than 15 years of academic experience across research, teaching, supervision, mentoring, and leadership. She is an Alexander von Humboldt Experienced Research Fellow and a TWAS/UNESCO Young Affiliate, with a strong track record in developing advanced materials and device technologies for clean energy, sustainability, energy storage, sensing, and advanced manufacturing. Over her academic career, she has supervised 10 PhD and master’s students, mentored four postdoctoral researchers.

Naimeh is passionate about both research and teaching, and about connecting fundamental scientific knowledge with technologies that can address real-world challenges in sustainability, clean energy resources, and functional devices. She is committed to empowering the next generation of scientists and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and safe academic environment where innovation, creativity, and impactful contributions can thrive. Her background includes leadership in advanced functional printing facilities, research translation, international collaboration, and laboratory quality and accreditation systems. Her academic activities have also included research project leadership, industry-facing collaboration, international visiting appointments, and contributions to women’s participation in STEM.
