His professional journey encompasses roles as an academic and a Professional Engineer specializing in transportation, where he has contributed to both public and private sectors. His extensive experience includes positions within numerous municipalities and prominent private enterprises, with a focus on heavy construction projects. Koorosh's portfolio features a diverse range of undertakings, from the development of high-rise buildings to significant civil infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges. Currently, he serves as a senior technical advisor for Transport for NSW and the Department of Transport in Victoria, where he is engaged in various civil infrastructure initiatives, notably the Sydney Metro and the recently launched Suburban Rail Loop. Additionally, he has facilitated independent short courses for professional organizations such as John Holland and VicRoads.
