Dr Akanksha is a lecturer at RMIT University's School of Accounting, Information Systems, and Supply Chain. She is a cyber security researcher with interests in distributed and decentralised systems, electronic medical records, and cryptography. She has made outstanding contributions to these fields with publications in high quality journals. The research outputs include pioneering work on securing distributed networks for intrusion detection in Internet of Things. Further, Dr Akanksha has proven his ability to establish relevant research collaborations with industry through various projects, which is supported by RMIT University's emphasis on aligning research with areas of national interest. She has also established collaborations with academics internationally, where has co-published journal articles with researchers. Her high-quality research in cyber security and her extensive research networks in cyber security and cryptography mark her as a leading researcher at RMIT.
